At-Large Contributes to Internet Governance Activities
At recent Internet Governance activities around the globe, members of the At-Large Community have been actively contributing to enhancing the public understanding of ICANN and the role of the At-Large community in the IG ecosystem.
During the Africa Internet Summit in Botswana in June, ALAC Chair Alan Greenberg and ALAC members from Africa, Tijani Ben Jemaa and Seun Ojedeji, participated in the ICANN Day sessions, Civil Society panel, and Africa Strategy session.
As the institutional partner of EuroDIG, the European Regional At-Large Organization (EURALO) played a key role in organizing various panels, workshops, and events.
In the WSIS Forum in May, Olivier Crépin-Leblond, the EURALO Chair, presented on the contribution of At-Large to the IANA stewardship transition process, as well as its experience in enhancing under-represented communities in participating in the global Internet Governance debate.
