EURALO Reviewed and Redrafted its Bylaws
Since April, a taskforce within the European Regional At-Large Organization (EURALO) met weekly to review and redraft its Articles of Association (“Bylaws”), which were adopted in April 2007 and amended in May 2011. The aim of this effort is to improve EURALO’s organizational efficiency and effectiveness by identifying the variance between the written rules of procedures and the actual practice and implementing necessary changes to bridge the gap. The bylaw aspects being analyzed and updated include EURALO’s leadership team composition, individual membership requirement, and finance related matters. While the Bylaws were originally written in the style of German law, members also discussed whether a different European legal style should be adopted. For more information
