ALAC Submits Statements on .XXX sTLD, Whois Requirements Report and IDN Issues
The ALAC submitted three recently adopted Statements to the public consultation processes, the ICANN Board of Directors and the GNSO today:
- ALAC Statement on ICM Application for .XXX sTLD [PDF, 372 KB] (sent to the “public consultation” and the ICANN Board)
- ALAC Statement on the Initial Whois Service Requirements Reports [PDF, 284 KB] (sent to the GNSO)
- ALAC Statement on IDN Issues [PDF, 324 KB] (sent to the ICANN Board)
The Statements were initially drafted by Cheryl Langdon Orr (.XXX sTLD), Patrick Vande Walle (Whois) and James Seng (IDN Issues) and reviewed by the wider At-Large community. On April 29th, the draft statements were put to a five-day online vote, which resulted in the ALAC endorsing all three statements.
