ALAC Submits Statements on Recent Whois Reports and Proposed VeriSign Exchange Service

The ALAC submitted two recently adopted Statements to the ICANN Board of Directors today:

• ALAC Statement on the proposed VeriSign Domain Name Exchange Service [PDF, 112 KB]
• ALAC Statement on the recent Whois Reports [PDF, 120 KB]

The Statements were initially drafted by Alan Greenberg (VeriSign Exchange Service) and Carlton Samuels (Whois) and reviewed by the wider At-Large community. On April 19th, the draft statements were put to a five-day online vote, which resulted in the ALAC endorsing all three statements.
