The Organization is led by a Board of Directors, which holds meetings every two months. Decisions are made in these Meetings and - in case of urgency - by Mail and will be documented in Meeting Minutes and in an internal Wiki.The Board is elected biannually by the General Assembly.

The Board reports to the General Assembly. Further Information is provided through a publication issued 4 times a year, the "FIfF-Kommunikation" (in german). -

The organization deals with Information Technology in general and its impact on society. We aim to provide a forum for discussing these issues. Topics are (but not limited to):- Internet governance
- Privacy issues
- Intellectual property rights
- Surveillance
Our target is to inform the public and provide input to the scientific discussion of these issues.
