ALAC/At-Large Achievements at ICANN54
The ALAC and At-Large community held 30 meetings at ICANN54. The ALAC held a new strategy session on 17 October 2015 as well as a very successful first development sessionOpens a new window on 23 October 2015.
The ALAC withdrew its supportOpens a new window for the single membership model previously proposed by the CCWG-Accountability. The ALAC also unanimously passed a statement on the Use of Country and Territory Names as Top-Level DomainsOpens a new window and a statement on the New gTLD Auction Proceeds Discussion PaperOpens a new window for communication to the relevant parties. The ALAC and At-Large New Meeting Strategy Working Party made significant progress toward agreement on the At-Large Schedule for Meetings A, B, and C. Leaders of the working party met with members of the ICANN Meetings team to discuss the schedule.
