Directors: 3 Voting Members: None at this time. When established, we plan to charge a nominal membership fee for members who which to have voting interest in the organization and some of its recommendations. We also plan to establish other value-added programs with this type of membership. This is done primarily to prevent the skewing of viewpoints from anonymous membership. Members: 10 students and faculty of two colleges in Honolulu, from varying ethnic backgrounds. Their primary purpose being the test subjects in development of our information system. Future members will receive information on developments through newsletters and announcements, and will be able to provide input on their viewpoints. At-Large Members: 126,000,000 (est.), who primarily use the Internet for email, research, and commerce, based on recent research. This membership base represents the number of individual users within the United States. Directors are chosen consistent with the organizational by-laws. Voting Members will be identified by a unique identifier that may consist of a username and password or other identifiable feature. Members consist of individuals identifiable by their individual (or multiple) (a) email addresses and (b) password. At-Large members consist of all individuals within the geographic boundaries of the United States of America who is a user or potential user of the Internet.
Members: free membership for individuals with a valid email address AND resides, works, or has fiduciary interest in the geographic region of America. Currently, members may sign up at http://group.AmericaAtLarge.org. Voting Membership has not yet been activated. Organizational Sponsors: organizations based in, having offices in, or have fiduciary interest in America and are willing to provide monetary or non-monetary support for the organization. Chapters: newly formed or established organizations with 3 or more members who represent a local geographic area, such as schools or localized organizations. Each chapter will be allocated a third level domain and email address under our organization's domain name. Committees: specialized concerns will be addressed through the formation of committees made up of members to address specific concerns or interests and reporting directly to the Chief Policy Advisor.

Yes. AmericaAtLarge is a non-profit corporation that will accept funding from Organizational Sponsors and grantmaking institutions in order to maintain its budgetary requirements. The corporation will be seeking tax-exempt status.
Governed by the Board of Directors and approved by-laws, AmericaAtLarge will disseminate information about issues of interest to members periodically, and form committees when interest levels reach a significant portion of the membership. The Chief Policy Advisor will collect information from the membership and recommend decisions to ICANN through a written report to the RALO and/or appropriate committee.

Our constituents/membership is kept informed about issues of interest via periodic email newsletters, and may participate in discussions through the organization's website.
