Since the Cairo Meeting,
http://www.icann.org/en/minutes/resolutions-07nov08.htm, as after most
public meetings, the Board has heard criticism of the operation of the
public forum -- including limited time for public participation and poor
remote participation options -- as well as discussing improving
mechanisms for Board feedback to the community. The newly formed Public
Participation Committee will address these issues as well as
inter-meeting communications (including the challenges ALAC has had in
getting responses to its comments).

The next Board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 11.
